Country Mile - Limited Edition Print

"Country Mile" celebrates the tranquil beauty of the landscape that surrounds me in the Midwest. Viewers can get lost in the rolling hills, the humid breeze, the whisper of the wildflowers, and the hum of the insects that this painting represents. 

Inspiration Story: "Country Roads" was commissioned for Kyle Turck and his band, The Hero and The Villain, to represent their song "Country Mile". Their song reminded me of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver, which was one of my nephew Harold's favorite songs. After losing Harold around the same time as this commission, the inspiration blended together for the piece.
