“Solace” - print

"Solace": A lone ship glides across still waters, bathed in the quiet glow of dusk. The scene is suspended between contrast—dark clouds gathering on the left, while the right shimmers with a soft, ethereal light reflected off the water’s surface. This is not a sunset in the traditional sense, but a moment of transition, where the day exhales and the night slowly arrives. Solace invites the viewer into a space of quiet reflection—where light and shadow coexist, and peace is found not in stillness, but in motion.

Inspiration story: 2024 and 2025 were filled with trips that opened my eyes to experiences I had yet to encouter. Sitting by the water filled many of my evenings as this transition from day to night took place. The shimmering light off the water hit my soul in a way in which I wanted it captured in a memory that could last forever. "Solace" was born from that memory, that warmth, and a small slice of happiness.
